THE ALLOCATION
At Robert Clay Vineyards, we craft just 400 cases of wine each year—each bottle grown, made, and aged with deliberate care by our hands alone. This intimate scale allows us to remain deeply connected to our land and our process, but it also means we must be intentional about how and where our wines are shared. Our allocation list is how we offer access to these wines.

Rather than a traditional tasting room or broad distribution, we’ve chosen to create something more personal—a private circle of those who truly value the work, the story, and the patience behind every bottle. As a member of the allocation family, you’ll receive first offerings of our small-lot, estate-grown wines, exclusive access to library vintages, and a direct connection to our winemaking journey.

Each allocation includes detailed insights into how the wines were grown and made, from aging timelines to yeast choices, allowing you to understand and share in the legacy behind the label.

Because this isn’t about volume—it’s about meaning—we invite those interested in joining to first schedule a private Introduction Tasting. This is a quiet appointment for you to sit with us, taste through the wines, and hear the story behind each vintage. If it feels aligned, we’ll then welcome you back for an Allocation Welcome Dinner. You’re invited to bring a group of 2 to 10 guests to share a meal, walk through the wines together, and take home one bottle of each. It’s during this dinner that you’ll have the opportunity to select your first allocation and formally join our list.
