Robert Clay Vineyards

2018 Ruby Cabernet

The 2018 Ruby Cabernet was planted in 1996 and was grown organically for the first time in 2018.  It was fermented on the skins for 30 days until the skins had almost completely disintegrated, then pressed off into an 80 gallon tank to settle for 3 months before being bottled. Nothing was added, no yeast, no acid, and no sulfur--its just fermented juice. Rich flavors of blackberries, blueberries, mulberries and plum. Enjoy this Ruby Cabernet with barbeque, steak, or vanilla ice cream.  There's only one case left, the rest goes into our library.
